FinanTerms & Conditions of Conduct Electrical LTD

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Conduct Electrical LTD (“Conduct Electrical”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number [Insert Company Number], with its registered office at The Business Centre, 758
Great Cambridge Rd, Enfield EN1 3GN.
By engaging our services, you (“the Customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms. These apply whether services are booked online, via telephone, or in person.
1. General
1.1. Conduct Electrical LTD is an NICEIC Approved Contractor and Part P registered.
1.2. We are committed to data protection and adhere to the Data Protection Act and GDPR. Your personal information will only be used to fulfil our contractual obligations or comply with regulations.
1.3. Any imagery, documentation, or branding created by or on behalf of Conduct Electrical is our intellectual property and cannot be reproduced without prior consent.
2. Quotations and Ordering
2.1. Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise in writing.
2.2. All quotes assume that information provided by the Customer is accurate. We reserve the right to revise costs if on-site findings differ significantly.
2.3. Orders are confirmed upon receipt of a signed agreement or payment/deposit, depending on the service type.
2.4. For EV charger installations, any grant eligibility (e.g., OZEV) must be confirmed in advance, and required documentation submitted on time.
3. Payment Terms
3.1. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due in full upon completion of work. For larger installations, staged payments may apply.
3.2. Payment methods accepted: Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card, or pre-agreed finance options via approved providers.
3.3. Where finance is used, you must ensure that finance approval is secured before the installation date.
3.4. Failure to make payment may result in withholding of certification or compliance paperwork until balance is cleared.

FAQs:
Are there any requirements for me to be able to apply?
In order to be able to apply, you will need –
• To be between 18 and 80 years of age
• To have a current UK bank account
• To have a permanent UK residence
• To have a valid UK telephone number and email address
Will I be credit checked?
Yes, we use a third party credit reference agency to perform credit checks on our customers. We report all
payment activity to credit reference agencies.
Can I pay off my balance early?
Yes, of course. There is no penalty or additional fee if you would like to do this.
How many months can I pay over?
Depending on the retailer, you are able to pay over anywhere between 1 and 12 months.
What if I have problems with making payments?
If you are experiencing problems with making repayments, you can contact us on 0333 212 2141 or email
us @ support@payitmonthly.uk and we will work with you to help resolve the issue.
Finance is provided by PayItMonthly Limited, a specialist provider of interest free credit for retailers and service

5. Installation Conditions
4.1. All works will be performed to BS 7671 (Wiring Regulations) and other applicable British Standards.
4.2. The Customer is responsible for:

Ensuring suitable access and clear working areas.

Gaining permissions (e.g., landlord, management company).

Providing safe parking for our engineers within 30 metres of the property.
4.3. If hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos) are found, we will suspend work until it is professionally removed.
4.4. If upgrades (e.g., consumer unit replacement or main bonding) are required to meet current standards, these will be quoted and must be agreed upon before proceeding.
6. EV Charger Installations
5.1. All EV charger installations are carried out in compliance with IET Code of Practice and BS 7671.
5.2. Load management (dynamic or passive) may be required depending on available supply and DNO permissions.
5.3. DNO notification (e.g., G98/G99) will be submitted where applicable. Delays may occur while awaiting DNO approval, which are outside our control.
5.4. Installations assume:

Suitable off-street parking exists.

The location for mounting the charger is structurally sound.

WiFi signal is adequate if smart functionality is required.
7. Post-Installation
6.1. On completion of the installation, the Customer will receive:

Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC) or Minor Works Certificate.

Part P Building Regulations Certificate (if applicable).

Manufacturer warranty registration (if included).
6.2. Standard workmanship warranty is 12 months unless stated otherwise.
6.3. Manufacturer warranties vary by product and are the responsibility of the manufacturer once installed.
6.4. The Customer must arrange annual servicing or maintenance where required to maintain warranties.
8. Cancellations and Rescheduling
7.1. You may cancel up to 48 hours before the scheduled installation without charge.
7.2. Cancellations within 48 hours or refusal of access may incur an administrative fee and/or restocking charges.
7.3. If finance was arranged, cancellation may also be subject to terms set by the lender.
9. Limitations and Exclusions
8.1. We will not be liable for:

Hidden defects (e.g., faulty existing wiring).

Failures caused by misuse, third-party interference, or improper maintenance.

Loss of earnings or business interruption.

Cosmetic damage unless caused by negligence.
8.2. We do not redecorate, make good to cosmetic finishes, or move furniture/fittings unless pre-agreed.
10. Customer Conduct
9.1. We expect respectful conduct towards our staff. Abuse or threats will result in immediate cancellation of services without refund and may be reported to authorities.
11. Dispute Resolution
10.1. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts of England and Wales.
